About This Course
Power BI is a business analytics service by Microsoft. It aims to provide interactive
visualizations and business intelligence capabilities with an interface simple enough for end
users to create their own reports and dashboards.
This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to work with and analyze data
and work with business cases using Microsoft Power BI. This course will allow participants to
use Power BI Desktop to connect to various data sources, shape the data, and use data models
to create reports. Through this Power BI course, participants can learn that Power BI Desktop
centralizes, simplifies, and streamlines what can otherwise be a scattered, disconnected, and
arduous process of designing and creating business intelligence repositories and reports.
This course should be attended by those who want to learn data storytelling using excel as a
platform. Applicable to students, working professionals and PMETs.

Requirements
No prior PowerBI experience is required to take this Course. Participants are expected to have
a basic understanding of charts and graphs and having knowledge of intermediate Excel or
Business Intelligence would be helpful.

Vadhavkar Aarushi Amol
Aarushi has over 10 years of experience in IT industry in various domains Banking & Finance,
Retail, E-commerce, and Education. She had worked with various clients like Lazada, Grab,
UOB, Standard Chartered, British Petroleum, Infosys, and Economic Development Board.
She holds a Masters in Computer Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Science.
Her expertise lies in problem solving, and success in delivering projects and trainings with
the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Currently, Aarushi is working with Xaltius Pte. Ltd., as a Data Science Trainer. She is
associated with the various corporate and non-corporate trainings. Prior to this, she has
worked as a Faculty/Trainer in an academic setting and has conducted classroom sessions
on Word, Excel, Visual Basic, and Java.
Apart from her professional work, Aarushi also has a passion for educating others on various
technologies and in data analysis.
